Original character adaptation from 2D to 3D

This project involved transforming an existing 2D character designed with spritesheets into a 3D version. To achieve this, I recreated the existing design in 3D using Blender as my tool. The first step was modeling, followed by texturing, where I had to create my own textures to closely match the original design. Next came animation, considering that the final result would be a series of spritesheets. Upon approval, I was tasked with creating specific "skins" or costumes for the character. I handled this entire process independently over several months, overcoming various challenges along the way. Additionally, I developed an executable file that allowed Blender to render animations in batch, streamlining the process for all skins or selectively for some, a significant improvement over manual rendering.
Below are examples showcasing the original 2D design and its adaptation into 3D, along with examples of how the character appeared once integrated into the application.
